Child Profile and Portfolio Assessment

BIP aims to develop children's capacity for self-discovery and reflection and to document and share children's many different learning experiences.

An individual Portfolio of children's work celebrates their progress and achievements and serves to share an overall picture of your child as a developing learner, recorded throughout their time in the school.

To gain a comprehensive view of your child's developing potential and to ensure that the learning needs of all children are being met, teachers also maintain a regular system of observation and feedback which is shared with parents formally, twice a year, in the form of a Child Profile and at the individual Parent/Teacher conferences.
